Job description:

  • Generate quotes to customers and process associated purchase orders.
  • Facilitate answers to technical and product questions.
  • Field sales calls.
  • Establish relationships with customers.
  • Manage orders from initial contact with our webstore, telephone, and face-to-face customer requests.
  • Fill orders, order stock, and update inventory numbers.
  • Purchase parts for repairs for tooling in our calibration lab.

Calibration Technician(s)

Job description:

Calibration/Metrology Technician: Requires the use of shop mathematics, drawings, specifications, charts, and adjustable measuring instruments. Willing to train any candidates who are interested in this field but have no experience.

Mechanical/Dimensional Calibration Technician: In-house and on-site opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in dimensional, electrical, temperature, pressure, and/or torque calibrations.
  • High School Diploma, or GED.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in the calibration of test and measurement equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow procedures.
  • Strong work ethic with a demonstration of dependability and timeliness.
  • Ability to squat, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred skills and character traits:

  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education, professional experience, or military service (PMEL) preferred but not required.
  • Mechanically inclined and detail oriented.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, and PC proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently, or as an active member of a team.
